Not everyone gets invited to speak at a Ted Talk. However, everyone can live their passion and purpose everyday.
Since 2012, we have been living these values that Eddy Woo speaks of so eloquently. In this article we feature Nish, one of our coaches who also lives these values and inspires students everyday.
Like Eddie, Nish completed his schooling from a prestigious select school, Melbourne High. He went on to get his Degree in Industrial Design from Monash University. Along the way he won numerous awards and recognitions, including the Best Car Design by a student at the International Motor Show in Melbourne.
He featured in Cameron Mackintosh's production of 'Oliver the Musical' in Melbourne and Singapore. However, it was his love for Hip Hop that took him overseas representing Australia at renowned festivals in South Korea and Japan.
Bringing his varied interests to inspire students in the world of Maths, we are grateful for his contribution to designing and building the Math Minds website from the ground up. What is remarkable about this achievement is that he is completely self taught in computer programming. He took up the challenge, put in the effort and persevered.
Nish continues to follow his passion for design. The new Math Minds Centre in Kew, Glen Waverley or Balwyn is testimony to his talent. He makes himself available, part time, to help ignite the passion for life in his students, while explaining the wonders of Maths along the way.
He is just one of the many coaches you will find in the Math Minds Learning Centres. They are all exceptional people. They all share a love for maths. They all use our unique Maths Intervention Techniques to help a student Catch up, Keep up or Get Ahead.
